In 2017 the Health-Related Water Microbiology (HRWM) Specialist Group of the International Water Association (IWA) established the continuing prize in recognition of Prof. Huw Taylor for assisting and encouraging outstanding research in the field of HRWM that provides water and/or sanitation solutions in emergency and/or developing settings.
